St. Petersburg International Baseball Batters Up for Ninth Season March 16-23
ST. PETERSBURG, FL (March 1, 2019) - The ninth season of St. Petersburg International Baseball fires up on March 16, as Team Canada returns for an eight-game series at Walter Fuller Baseball Complex, 7901 30th Ave N. Members of the Canadian Junior National Team will play MLB Minor League prospects from the Phillies, Tigers, Rays and other spring training teams.
"We are excited to kick off the ninth season of St. Petersburg International Baseball," said Mayor Rick Kriseman. "The high caliber of international players that travel to our great city for this Spring training series continues to complement St. Pete's rich baseball history while providing a season of affordable, fun and family-friendly events for our residents."
Fans are invited join Mayor Rick Kriseman on March 17 at 1:00 p.m. as he throws out the first pitch.
Tickets to all games are $10 each and are available one hour prior to game time at the box office. All seats are general admission. Gates open one hour prior to game time with plenty of free parking.
