Public Computers Available for Residents to Complete the 2020 Census

UPDATE April 2020 - City sites are closed due to COVID-19. 

St. Petersburg, FL (February 2020) – Public computers are available for St. Pete residents to complete the 2020 Census at the following City of St. Petersburg sites:

  • St. Petersburg Main Library (3745 9th Ave. N.)
  • James W. Johnson Library (1059 18th Ave. S.)
  • North Community Library (861 70th Ave. N.)
  • South Community Library (2300 Roy Hanna Dr. S.)
  • Mirror Lake Community Library (280 5th St. N.)
  • Childs Park Community Library (691 43rd St. S.)
  • West Community Library at SPC Gibbs Campus (750 66th St. N.)
  • Childs Park Recreation & Fitness Center (4301 13th Ave. S.)
  • Roberts Recreation Center (1246 50th Ave. N.)
  • Thomas “Jet” Jackson Recreation Center (1000 28th St. S.)
  • Gladden Park Recreation Center (3901 30th Ave. N.)
  • Sunshine Center (330 5th St. N.)

Starting in March 2020, households will start receiving postcards from the U.S. Census Bureau with an invitation to complete the census online.

Every 10 years, the federal government aims to count every resident in the United States through the Census. This data dictates everything from seats in U.S. Congress to billions of dollars in federal funding for local programs.
