AARP Tax Assistance at Main and South Libraries
St. Petersburg, Fla. (February 11, 2015) – In partnership with The AARP, Inc., free tax assistance will be offered at the Main Library and South Community Library throughout tax season, starting in February and ending by the tax preparation/submission deadline of April 15.
The Main Library, at 3745 Ninth Avenue North, is hosting tax assistance for seniors on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and
The South Community Library, at 2300 Roy Hanna Drive South, hosts this service on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The St. Petersburg Library System is committed to community development and offers this program as part of the library system’s 4E Sustainability Initiative, a method to enhance the provision of resources, services and programs focused on Economy, Ecology, Equity and Efficiency.
