Public Invited to FY 2018 City Budget Open House June 19

ST. PETERSBURG, FL (May 23, 2017) – Citizens are invited to share thoughts and priorities with Mayor Rick Kriseman, City Council and city administrators during a FY 2018 City Budget Open House Monday, June 19, at the Coliseum, 535 Fourth Ave. N. The Open House begins at 6 p.m.

From 6 to 7 p.m., citizens will be able to ask questions and share ideas with Mayor Kriseman, City Council members, administrators and city staff from City Development, Public Safety, Neighborhood Affairs, Public Works, General Government, and Leisure Services during breakout sessions. City leaders will then discuss how the city budget is developed before hearing public comment; citizens wishing to speak will be limited to three minutes. Following public comments, City Council members will have an opportunity to share their budget priorities.

Citizens may also leave budget-related feedback on at from June 1-30, during open forums of any regular City Council meeting or during two city budget public hearings September 7 and 21. The budget open house will be rebroadcast throughout the summer on StPeteTV, Bright House Channel 641, and WOW! Channel 15 and Verizon Fi0s Channel 20.
