Update - Good Rating from North Shore Beach Water Samples Re-test
Re-testing of recreational water samples at North Shore Beach has turned up a 4 B Good rating following higher than acceptable results during routine testing earlier this week. Tests performed yesterday, January 25, by the Environmental Compliance Division of the city’s Water Resources department showed acceptable levels of Enterococci, according to the Healthy Beaches Categories. Advisory signs posted after Wednesday’s initial testing have been removed.
Weekly recreational water test results are available at www.stpete.org/water/waterquality.php on the “Recreational Beaches” layer of the interactive map.
Samples are taken and testing is being done in accordance with the water testing protocols outlined in the City’s Water Quality Report Card.
