Popular Puppet Show Series ´Inches' Back to St. Petersburg Main Library
Junior League of St. Petersburg Presents ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’
St. Petersburg, FL (September 19, 2018) – Beginning Monday, September 24, ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ Puppet Show crawls back to the St. Petersburg Main Library, 3745 Ninth Ave. N. Free shows for children ages three to seven will be held on select Mondays at 10:30 a.m. through April 2019. The shows are presented by the Junior League of St. Petersburg.
Shows are scheduled on the following Mondays: September 24; October 8 and 22; November 5; December 10; January 14 and 28; February 11 and 25; March 4 and 25; and April 15 and 29. Groups of 10 or more, including schools, must pre-register at 727-892-5296.
Based on the book of the same name by Eric Carle, the show introduces young children to the library and the joy of books. The Junior League of St. Petersburg has been presenting this, and other, popular puppet shows for children at the Main Library since the 1940s.
