CROSS SAFELY, ST. PETE!

St. Pete now has more than 100 crosswalks with flashing yellow lights that indicate pedestrians crossing the street to cars!

Here’s how to safely use the crosswalk:

  • Look and make sure all drivers have stopped

  • Stay alert for moving cars in all lanes

  • Stay alert for moving cars until you have crossed the road

Drivers must also pay attention and be courteous

  • Follow speed limits & watch for other people using the road

  • Stop behind the line when the lights flash

Courtesy promotes safety. That’s the St. Pete Way!
