UPDATE: St. Pete Mayor and City Council Swearing In on January 6

The City Council swearing in will happen Jan. 6 at 10:30 a.m. on the steps of City Hall. 
St. Petersburg Mayor-elect Ken Welch will give a brief, live, virtual address at noon on Inauguration Day (Thursday, January 6th).  The speech will be carried on the city’s television channel – St. Pete TV and streamed on the city’s Facebook page.  It will also include video from earlier in the day of Welch being sworn-in as the city’s 54th and first African American mayor.
