Starting March 7, pipeline construction will occur along 43rd Street South between 1st Avenue South and the Pinellas Trail, during which sections of 43rd Avenue will be temporarily closed.

• March 7 – May 23, 2022: 43rd Street South between Fairfield Avenue and the Pinellas Trail will be closed.
• March 14 – April 4, 2022: 43rd Street South between 1st Avenue South and 2nd Avenue will be closed.

Access to driveways will be maintained. During the closure between Fairfield Avenue and the Pinellas Trail, the Childs Park YMCA will be accessible from northbound 43rd Street south of the YMCA.

All detours are clearly marked, and variable message boards will keep motorists and pedestrians informed. Please use caution while driving, bicycling or walking in the area, and allow extra time for travel.
