City of St. Petersburg Accepting Applications for Small Business Enterprise Committee

St. Petersburg, FL - The City of St. Petersburg is seeking two residents to serve on the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Committee.

The Small Business Enterprise (SBE) program is intended to enhance contracting and procurement opportunities for small business enterprises. The SBE Committee uses participation percentages or a sheltered market to maximize SBE participation in construction projects of $50,000.00 or more, excluding construction projects being completed pursuant to a job order contract.

The SBE Committee, comprised of seven members, consists of five individuals holding City staff positions; one City resident appointed by the Mayor for a term of two years; and one City resident appointed by the City Council Chair for a term of two years.
