Progress Update: St. Pete Debris Pick Up

Print this page

Debris pickup in St. Pete has been underway since Oct. 3.

Since then, 16 City teams have been working 7 days a week in 12 hour shifts to pick up debris in all areas of St. Pete. The team has been getting creative with the available fleet - making use of City trucks and equipment in unique ways to assist with clean-up efforts. Once collected, debris is being taken to holding sites to be transported to the processing facility by the FEMA monitoring company.

The City will continue to provide updates to residents as progress is made and efforts will continue until St. Pete is completely back to normal.
