Community Invited to 5th Avenue North Improvements Public Meeting

St. Petersburg, FL (Nov. 30, 2022) - The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Seven, is hosting a Virtual Public Meeting (VPM) on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022 to cover the proposed access changes of Alt US 19 (5th Ave N.) from 6th St. to Tyrone Blvd. and from 22nd St. N. to 55th St. The proposed project will repave 5th Ave. N., close medians to vehicular traffic at four intersections and add several pedestrian crossings as well as sidewalk improvements.

To allow for maximum participation, community members can attend the public meeting in one of three formats - virtually over the internet, at an in-person drive-thru location and by phone. Project staff will be available to answer questions and receive comments at the in-person drive-thru location and online. The information presented will be identical at all options.

Virtual/Online:
The presentation will be played at 5 p.m. and replayed at 5:30 p.m.
