STORMWATER? FLOODING? SEA LEVEL RISE?

Yeah, we have a plan for those.

The City of St. Petersburg is working to improve stormwater quality, reduce flooding and mitigate the impacts of sea level rise in St. Pete with the Stormwater Master Plan. The City is nearing completion of the Stormwater Master Plan and is asking for your input prior to putting the finishing touches on the stormwater floodplain.

Learn more and provide input at www.stpete.org/StormwaterMasterPlan.

INTRODUCING: MAYOR WELCH'S CITY HALL ON TOUR

We're bringing City Hall to your community! Figuratively, of course. Last month, we kicked off Mayor Welch's City Hall On Tour with the first tour stop at Walter Fuller Rec Center. This is your opportunity to meet with Mayor Welch and members of City leadership to get your questions answered and concerns addressed.

Find upcoming tour dates and more information at www.stpete.org/CityHallOnTour.

Dear Earth, We Love You.

We're celebrating Earth Day the entire month of April. Be extra thoughtful to your parks and outdoor spaces, pick up your trash and most of all, soak in the beauty around you a bit more than usual. We're also hosting a week-long official celebration during the month and re-launching St. Petersburg's Composting Program ON Earth Day (April 22).

Find out more at www.stpete.org/EarthDay.

Water You Waiting For?

Sorry, we had to... This month, learn about how your water is processed before coming out of the faucet and after you flush the toilet at one of our water treatment facility open houses. Join us for behind-the-scenes tours of our drinking water and reclaimed water facilities. It's actually a lot more interesting than you would think!

For a schedule of tours and more information, visit www.stpete.org/WaterOpenHouse.

Good Neighbor Tip: Curbside Support

If you need assistance with trash or recycling service, special pickups, container repairs or to set up a new service, the Sanitation team is here to help Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

To reach a customer service representative, call 727-893-7398.

Save the Date: Public Works Job Fair

Our Public Works teams will be hosting a Job Fair on May 6 at 10 a.m. at Lake Vista Rec Center. Join us to learn about the jobs that keep St. Pete running smoothly - you might even find one that works for you!
