Grants Overview

The City’s Youth Development Grants program provides funding opportunities to local non-profit organizations who provide services to at-risk St. Pete youth and expands education and community initiatives designed to provide additional opportunities to the Sunshine City's youth and businesses. GRANT APPLICATIONS OPEN NOW

The application deadline for the Youth Program Development grants has been extended to June 13 at 11:59 p.m.

Applicants are invited to attend a virtual information session on the dates and times listed below:

  • Wednesday, May 18 at 6–7:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 26 at 6-7:30 p.m.

GRANT review committee positions OPEN NOW



The City of St. Petersburg is also seeking residents who are interested in promoting education and workforce participation to the city’s at-risk youth to fill vacancies on the Youth Development Grant Review Committee. 

The eight-person committee reviews grant applications for the Youth Development Grant Program, a component of the My Brother’s and Sister’s Keeper (MBSK) initiative, and provides recommendations to the Mayor for funding based on criteria and guidelines. Organizations associated with selected committee members are unable to apply to receive funding through this grant cycle.

The City will be accepting applications for the Youth Development Grant Review Committee until 5 p.m. on Monday, June 6.
