The Utility Assistance Program allows St. Petersburg utility customers to make donations to help other utility customers experiencing financial hardships with their utility costs. Donations are made through the donor's utility bill and are distributed through a network of social service agencies.
Donors can easily make a one-time contribution or sign up for automatic monthly donations for any amount through their City utility bill. With the new Utility Bill Round-Up giving option, your bill is rounded up to the nearest dollar and the difference is donated. That’s only $0.99 or less per month and less than $12 per year. Every little bit helps. Sign up below. Donations may be tax-deductible as allowed by law, consult your tax advisor.
If you are having trouble paying your utility bill, reach out to the Billing and Collections Customer Care Line at 727-893-7341 for more information on how to receive assistance. Assistance is limited and is administered by third-party agencies according to their respective eligibility criteria.
