Cultural Affairs

The City’s Office of Cultural Affairs curates the success of St. Petersburg's cultural institutions and local artists that contribute significantly to St. Pete's overall economy and are a driving force behind the cultural fabric and creative nature of the city, both residents and visitors alike.

In partnership with the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance, the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and various cultural stakeholders, the Office of Cultural Affairs aims to advance St. Pete as a major southeastern cultural center anchored by world-class museums, a thriving community of artists and craftspeople, multiple arts districts with culturally-based programming, and an award-winning performing arts community.

2021-2022 Grant Applications

The process for application to the City's Arts Grant Program starts Thursday, April 1, 2021. See links below for instructions, schedule and a scoring rubric. The applications are available for three levels of organizations:

Please note: In light of ever-changing technology, we have improved the method in which the grants will be filled out and submitted. The grant applications will now be completed and submitted via cloud-based portal. We have scheduled two virtual workshops to guide you in the new process. No paper copies of grant packets will be accepted. Please read all instructions closely for submittal details.

Each workshop will cover the same material, applicants will only need to attend one. Attendance on one of these dates is highly recommended, but not mandatory to submit a grant. These workshops will walk applicants through the grant process in new system and to answer any questions.
