Neighborhoods
St. Petersburg is home to a very diverse and active neighborhood community.
Our Community Services Department helps develop and implement neighborhood improvement programs -- overseeing a network of more than 110 neighborhood and business associations, supporting existing organizations or helping create new civic or business groups, developing neighborhood plans, implementing neighborhood traffic plans, and coordinating the city's volunteering initiative, I CAN (Involved Citizens Active in Neighborhoods).
