City Clerk

The City Clerk supports St. Pete’s legislative processes, documents and provides access to the City’s official records, and helps preserve the City’s history by managing the Archives and Records Division.

Services

  • Prepare City Council Agendas and document the proceedings of City Council meetings
  • Maintain the online agenda documents repository
  • Index local laws, ordinances, resolutions, agreements, and deeds
  • Update and distribute supplements to the City Code
  • Administer Oath of appointments to boards and committees
  • Maintain City Executive Orders
  • Publish legal notices, recording of official documents with appropriate agencies
  • Receive and submit any Appeals (Code Lien Violations, Development Review Board, Community Planning & Preservation, and City Council) for processing
