An Update on the Redevelopment of the Marina - Request For Proposals (RFP)

The City’s Municipal Marina is composed of docks and support facilities spanning the Central (“CYB”) and South (“SYB”) Yacht Basins along our Downtown Waterfront. The CYB docks were built in 1963 and four of the five SYB docks were constructed in 1977. The facilities have been well maintained over the years, but with time and exposure to the aggressive saltwater environment, the infrastructure has reached the end of its service life. The City completed a Marina Master Plan in 2017 which includes a framework for the redevelopment of the Municipal Marina.

The RFP has closed. All applications were due to the City by 10:00 a.m. by July 14, 2023.

In addition to the Marina redevelopment, proposers have the option to submit a proposal for the redevelopment and operation of the restaurant space located adjacent to the marina at 300 Second Avenue N.E.
