GOOD NEIGHBOR TIP: KEEP OUR CURBS CLEAN

Help us reduce recycling contamination – do not leave your container at the curb or in the alley and only place out for collection before 7 a.m. on your service day. Please do not bag recycling in plastic bags or dispose of plastic bags.

Don’t know your service day? Go to stpete.org/collection to find your recycling zone calendar or download the St. Pete Collects app to receive notifications the day before your collection day.

3 CHEERS FOR VOLUNTEERS

CareFest is finally here! CareFest is a community outreach program that helps homeowners in need with minor home repairs, yard work, and painting through in-kind donations and volunteers. As a City of Compassion, St. Pete knows that once our own needs are met, we must look to the needs of others.

Find more information and ways to participate at stpete.org/CareFest.

HOME STRETCH OF THE FERTILIZER BAN

Help the Sunshine City by not using fertilizer for one more month! Every year, increased rainfall in the summer months can cause nutrients from fertilizer to reach bodies of water and lead to environmental issues and water quality problems. We can help our environment through this season in many ways, including partaking in the fertilizer ban from June 1 to September 30.

More information at stpete.org/fertilizer.

STAY SAFE THROUGH HURRICANE SEASON

We're still in the thick of hurricane season here in St. Pete, and want to remind you to stay aware. Hurricane season lasts until November 30. Be proactive rather than reactive this year!
