Community Resilience Listening Session Feb. 13

Navigating Flooding Challenges in the Wake of Recent Storms

February 12, 2024 - The City of St. Petersburg will host a Resilience Community Listening Session to discuss flooding and coastal resilience for the city's hardest-hit communities impacted by recent storms.

The Resilience Community Listening Session will be held at John’s Hopkins All Children's Hospital Research and Education Building on Tuesday, Feb. 13, from 5:30 p.m. to 7: 30 p.m.

St. Petersburg residents in the highest flood risk areas will have the opportunity to share feedback and concerns on making their communities more resilient. City staff and representatives from other key agencies at the state and federal level will be present.

The Resilience Community Listening Session will be open to the public. Seating will be limited, so attendees are encouraged to pre-register at stpete.org/Resilience. Upon registration, attendees are also encouraged to provide input in advance to help ensure the Resident Feedback portion of the presentation is informative and comprehensive.

Parking Guidance

Attendees are encouraged to park in the Patient and Family Parking Garage (North Garage located on 5th Street) across the street from the Research and Education Building.

Members of the media are advised to park in the circle in front of the main hospital entrance, which is located across the street from the Research and Education Building.
