Heads Up: Potential Severe Weather Tomorrow, April 11

April 11, 2024 - Severe weather is anticipated tomorrow, Thursday, April 11. Scattered thunderstorms, high winds, poor beach and marine conditions, and coastal flooding during the afternoon high tide are possible. There is a possibility for an isolated tornado/waterspout.

As always, sandbags are available for pickup tomorrow, April 11, 7 a.m. through 3 p.m. at the Pavement and Traffic Operations Building, 1744 9th Ave. N. More information can be found at stpete.org/sandbags.

What To Do:

  • Secure loose outdoor items

  • Take caution of high winds and flooded streets while driving

  • Stay off the water; high tide is expected in the afternoon - around 3:35 p.m.
