City of St. Petersburg to Host Annual Budget Open House on April 16

The public is invited to the City's annual Budget Open House on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, 175 5th St. N. The Budget Open House will include an overview of the Fiscal Year 2025 Budget process, remarks from Mayor Welch and City Council, and an opportunity for public comment.

"Engaging our community in the budgeting process isn't just good governance, it's a vital reflection of our commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusivity," said Mayor Kenneth T. Welch. "When citizens actively participate in shaping our fiscal priorities, we foster a stronger, more resilient community where all voices matter, and every dollar invested carries the promise of a brighter future for all."

Residents who would like to speak will have three minutes each to share their input and budget priorities with Mayor Kenneth T. Welch and City officials.
