Stormwater, Pavement & Traffic Operations

The Stormwater, Pavement, and Traffic Operations Department works to maintain a variety of infrastructure projects aimed at ensuring the health, safety, and comfort of St. Pete residents. This Department maintains the City's Rights-of-Way in the areas of pavement, stormwater, and traffic operations. Pavement Operations maintains sidewalks, paved/unpaved alleys and roads, and curbs. Stormwater Operations maintains stormwater utility assets (pipes, catch basins, ditches, etc.), bridges, seawalls, and trash pickup/mowing in select locations. Traffic Operations maintains traffic signals, pavement markings, and signage within the city limits. The Department also performs street sweeping and marine sign maintenance.
