Transportation & Parking
The Transportation & Parking Department manages the City’s parking lots, garages, and on-street spaces, including handling the permitting associated with the City's Residential Parking Permit program, monthly parking in the municipal garages & lots, and valet operations that use on-street parking. They support the City's robust schedule of special events by assisting with road/parking closures and shuttle/trolley services and contribute to planning efforts to keep the City accessible to residents and visitors. The Department also manages the Complete Streets program, the micromobility program with rental e-bikes and e-scooters, and supports bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure and safety programming, encouraging a variety of safe and efficient ways to get around the City.
