Social Action Funding
Social service agencies that provide homeless services and/or homeless prevention services can apply to take advantage of up to $50,000 in Social Action Funding grants from the City of St. Petersburg. Applications are currently closed. Check this site for updates starting May 2021.
Priority is given to agencies that provide services for:
- Homeless families with minor or dependent children
- Unaccompanied youth
- Individuals (who are most vulnerable)
- Chronically homeless individuals and Veterans
- Victims of domestic violence
Agencies can take advantage of grants between $10,000 and $50,000, depending upon eligibility and fund availability. Only one application per agency is permitted. However, an agency may submit additional applications for programs that provide any of the following critical services: storage units for personal items belonging to homeless individuals, call centers to assist persons with prevention of homelessness or to assist those who are already homeless, or discretionary funds for street outreach to homeless individuals and families
Bidders/Technical Assistance Workshop
To be eligible, applicants must attend the mandatory Bidders/Technical Assistance Workshop, which will be held virtually via Zoom this year. Interested applicants are requested to print the application and guidelines found below and have them available during the workshop. The specifics of the workshop will be available in May 2021.
