StPete2050 Meetings + Survey

StPete2050 is a community wide discussion and collaboration to explore what St. Petersburg might look like 30 years from now. There are two ways to get involved:

Attend the Kick-off Meetings
Join us as we kick-off the 12 month visioning process with a review of Vision 2020 to better understand where we are now and begin the process of exploring where we want to go as a city.

Information about the many ways to get involved and stay involved will be provided.

There are three opportunities to participate in the project kick-off. The same information will be covered in all meetings.

City Representatives will be available to answer questions and receive comments.

St. Pete Scores Perfect 100 on HRC's MEI

For the fifth year in a row, the City of St. Petersburg has scored a perfect 100 on the Human Rights Campaign’s annual Municipal Equality Index (MEI) – the only nationwide assessment of LGBTQ inclusion in municipal law, policy and services.

St. Pete was one of five cities in Florida to receive a perfect score, out of the 18 Florida cities and 506 total municipalities ranked.

Holidays in the Sunshine City

Celebrate the season on the downtown waterfront with these family-friendly events during Holidays in the Sunshine City:
  • Snowfest: Activities for the whole family at North Straub Park. Saturday, Dec. 7 at 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • Meet Santa: Santa meet-and-greets at North Straub Park. Saturday, Dec. 7, Sunday, Dec. 8, and Dec. 12-23 at 6-9 p.m.
  • Holiday Movies in the Park: Holiday-themed movies under the stars at Vinoy Park. Saturday, Dec. 14 & 21.

Did You Know?

St. Petersburg has the highest number of homeless individuals in Pinellas County. The annual Point in Time Survey on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020 helps document this statistic and helps in planning for programs and services that will help prevent homelessness, and assist those who are homeless obtain housing and self-sufficiency.
