Sanitation

The Sanitation Department provides solid waste and recycling for residents and businesses within the city limits; clears and maintains neglected properties and City-owned lots; and provides graffiti abatement, rodent control, and special collections of bulky items that won't fit in solid waste containers. Sanitation teams also support the Parks department before, during, and after weather events to clear roads for emergency vehicles and assist with the removal of storm debris from the right of way.

• Residential trash and recycling collection, including the option for once-weekly trash collection
• Residential Special Pickup for large items and yard debris
• Commercial trash collection, cardboard recycling, and bulky item collection
• Graffiti abatement, shopping cart collection, and dead animal collection
• Large roll-off trash container service
• Yard waste and recycling collected at five Brush Sites
• Mulch product, soil amendment product, and fill dirt that can be delivered to the residents at a reasonable cost
