Mayor Welch to host Annual Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg Flag Raising

February 27, 2023 - St. Petersburg Mayor Kenneth T. Welch will host a flag raising ceremony to kick off the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at City Hall, 175 5th St. N.

Mayor Welch will be joined by St. Petersburg City Council Members, owners and promoters of the Firestone Grand Prix, Kim Green and Kevin Savoree, Jay Frye, INDYCAR President, and 2022 first-place winner, Scott McLaughlin.
